About
Building since 2016.
I'm Dima Braven — product designer and indie maker from Saint Petersburg. Itmeo is my umbrella brand for a portfolio of micro-tools. This is the full story.
First tools. First users.
Registered itmeo.com in December 2016. Started shipping: UaKit HTML templates, Brew WordPress theme, and WebGradients — a free CSS gradient library that would go on to be used by millions.
Airtap — no-code site builder
Built Airtap (airtap.io) — a drag-and-drop landing page constructor. Competed with Framer and Webflow. Learned that building is the easy part; distribution is everything.
Itmeo Market
Launched a Figma template marketplace: 190 templates — Instagram, logos, UI kits, SMM assets. Sold lifetime deals. Revenue: modest. Lesson: product without audience is a hobby.
Platform + marketplace — unified
Merged Airtap and Itmeo Market into a single platform with profiles, site builder, and digital storefront. 30,000 registrations. Stripe Connect integrated. Revenue from marketplace: zero.
Honest reset
Shut down the legacy infrastructure — Vue 2, Node 16, C#, Hetzner servers, five years of technical debt. Made the decision to rebuild everything from scratch with a modern stack and AI as co-founder.
New stack. New era.
Rebuilt on Railway, Neon, Cloudflare Pages. Launched SiteHunter and AiDiscuss. Started the monorepo. Eight more products in progress.
Ecosystem in motion
Unified auth across all products. One Itmeo account. SubmitDB. PostLog. XMakers. TapRiver. The foundation is finally solid.
Manifesto
"Design is not decoration. It's a decision.
I build things I want to use.
Small tools, made with care.
No dark patterns. No VC pressure.
No bullshit metrics.
Just useful software — for designers, makers, and builders."
— Dima Braven, 2016
